Working to serve my community has always been a passion for me.
The recent flooding events in our town were eye-opening as I realised the need for a more organised community approach in emergency situations. I worked tirelessly to connect people in need with those who had the desire to help, dropping off food, vouchers, wood, and care packages.
The strength of our community inspired me, with many local businesses and individuals coming together. It is this show of strength in community that I want to continue to grow as we stand stronger together.
